Overview
All projects in this section do not require the source to be disclosed, and can use other licenses for modified files. There is a limitation of liability and there is no warranty provided. If the Apache license is chosen, patent use is allowed, no trademark rights are granted, and changes to the licensed material must be documented. If the MIT license is chosen, there is no patent use allowed, trademark rights are granted, and changes to licensed material do not need to be documented.
A further comparison between these two licenses (and others) can be viewed at choosealicense.com. More info about the Apache and MIT licenses can be viewed at apache.org and choosealicense.com, respectively.
